I purchased this dog bowl for one of my dogs after he choked on his dinner one night - he eats REALLY fast. This bowl has helped increase the amount of time it takes him to eat his meals substantially. He went from eating dinner in 20 seconds to 9 or 10 minutes now. It does not slide on the floors like some other bowls we've used previously. I've since purchased 2 more for my other dogs since I loved the first one so much!
