About the Founder

For owner Sara Choi, MiAmore was her way to step off the corporate ladder and step into something she truly loved: design and her dog (or, really, her dog and then design). Sara started her professional career in banking and technology and transitioned to interior design and architecture, which eventually led her to corporate real estate.

Then came Mia. And with Mia, Sara discovered her true calling.

Returning to her love of design, and inspired by her little Maltipoo, Sara started MiAmore Pets as a side business, working mostly online and in a few pop-up opportunities. Fast forward a few years, and she is planning on opening a brick-and-mortar store in the Fall of 2024 while she continues to sell and ship high-end, durable, and adorable products nationwide.

What sets MiAmore apart from larger chain and box stores is Sara’s careful curation of the products she offers.
